IT Department Opens Internet Explorer, Loses All Trust From Accounting Team

Portland, OR – When Erin from accounting submitted a ticket to the IT Helpdesk, she was desperate for anyone to solve her problem. Anyone, that is, except Owen. Rumor has it that when Andrea from development was having issues with her Outlook disconnecting last month, Owen opened up Internet Explorer to find the fix.

“Internet Explorer! In 2019? Can you imagine? How embarrassing. Obviously Owen from IT needs to take a class in technology if he is using the Goodwill of Internet browsers,” Erin said in a phone interview. “He’s a danger to the entire company.”

On whether an official HR report was filed, Owens supervisor declined to comment. We reached out to Owen, but have yet to receive a response to our email. Most likely because he is still using AOL Mail.
